We have welcomed visitors at the Lord’s Table from many ecclesias in 2025: Boston, MA, Glendale AZ, Granite State NH, Marlton NJ, Monroe WA, Norfolk VA, Portland OR, Simi Hills CA, South Ozone Park NY, Tulsa-Joplin OK/MO, Westerly RI, and Worcester MA. We again thank visiting brothers who exhorted us: Bre. Tim Demarest, Josh Budney, Jim Boyko, Steve Davis, Matt Fulmer, Eric Pride, Dan Wilkinson, and Paul Melanson. Their services have been very much appreciated.

Bro. Steve and Sis. Sandy Davis visited in the spring, and Bro. Steve led our Spring Study Weekend on the theme “For Conscience’ Sake”. In October we hosted the 94th Annual New England Fraternal Gathering. Bro. Nigel and Sis. Devonna Small were with us at the time, and Bro. Nigel spoke on the theme “As a man thinketh in his heart.” We thank them for their services, too.

We had a sad beginning to the year. Our Sis. Dot Phillips fell asleep in Christ on January 21st. She was the wife of Bro. Warren Phillips and the mother of Bro. Dan, Sis. Donna Millard, Bro. Jay, and Sis. Vickie Tuck. Her pilgrimage in the truth had lasted more than 70 years. On January 24th, our Bro. Ken Stiles fell asleep in Christ. He was an ardent student of prophecy and the older brother of our Bro. David Stiles. On May 5th, our Sis. Faith Wight fell asleep in Christ after a long illness. She was the widow of Bro. Everett Wight and the mother of Sis. Faith Marra and Bro. David. May our Lord return soon and raise them to life again.

2025 was also a year for rejoicing. Sis. Lisa Hart-Singh, daughter of Bro. Jimmy and Sis. Laletta Hart, was baptized into Christ on January 12th. Bro. Lavin Harvey, son of Sis. Camelia Harvey, and his wife, Sis. Annita, were baptized on September 21st. Sis. Lynn Hendricks, a contact for many years, was baptized on September 24th. In October we happily received Bro. Rob Stormont back into fellowship.

The Demarest family – Bro. Dan, Sis. Betsy, Bro. Tim, and Dan’s parents, Bro. Ray and Sis. Susan – transferred membership from Meriden to Glendale AZ in June. We commend them to their new ecclesia with much love.

We have celebrated other significant events this past year. We rejoice with Bro. Lavin and Sis. Annita Harvey in the birth of their daughter, Larissa, in February, and with Sis. Lisa and her husband, Amit Singh, in the birth of their daughter, Peyton, in August. Our dear Sis. Helen Sweet celebrated her 100th birthday in October. She was baptized into Christ in 1943.

Another highlight of the year was our participation in a community event called “Christmas in the Village.” This was held the first weekend in December and provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with the public. We gave away Bibles, children’s books, literature, and other Bible-related gifts. Conversations allowed us to share our faith with many neighbors. God willing, we hope to participate again in 2026.
