Baptism in Palenque

A visit to Palenque brings fellowship, Bible teaching, and the joy of witnessing baptism among believers in Mexico.

Here is a picture of the baptism/breaking of bread with our new brother, Pascual Marquez, in Palenque, Mexico. Bro. Pascual has been studying for years with sis. Damaris Cuevas (the lady in the striped dress) and attends the breaking of bread via ZOOM in Los Angeles. Bro. Herbert Carrillo flew there from San Salvador to do the baptism and the meeting on September 27th. Bro. Herbert is the grandson of the very first sister baptized in El Salvador, back in 1974!

Also in the picture, on the left, is a friend of Sis. Damaris, Bro. Pascual’s wife, and another relative of the family.

Afterwards, Bro. Pascual said how happy he was to be part of the “Family in the Faith.”

May God be with our new brother and keep him until the return of the Lord Jesus and the Kingdom.
