A Temple Filled With Unsearchable Riches
This series examines Ezekiel’s temple vision and related “temple” themes to argue that the heart of the subject is not architectural speculation, but the unsearchable riches of Christ and God’s purpose to build a holy dwelling among his people. It challenges the assumption of a future millennial temple with restored animal sacrifices, treats many temple details as “uncertain” and not fellowship-defining, and redirects attention to what is spiritually essential: God’s house as a community shaped by worship, holiness, and reconciliation. The series concludes with two letters to the editor that expand the discussion.
Part 1
This grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. (Eph 3:8)
Part 2
This grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. (Eph 3:8)
Part 3
This grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles athe unsearchable riches of Christ. (Eph 3:8).
Part 4
There are "uncertain details" which should never be allowed to affect fellowship among brothers and sisters, namely the size of Christ's future temple upon the earth, or the form and shape of its construction.
Part 5
I suggest that Ezekiel’s temple vision was not a plan for a huge temple in the Kingdom of God.
Part 6
I suggest that Ezekiel’s temple vision was not a plan for a huge temple in the Kingdom of God.
